Felicia Ferrone, a Chicago native with an American education, has been running her creative practice, Fferrone Design, since 2001. Her early career as an architect in Milan under the guidance of renowned architects such as Antonio Citterio, Vittorio Gregotti, Piero Lissoni, and Silvana Sermisoni, helped her develop a design philosophy that emphasizes the interconnectedness of design elements and the significance of context. Her work has received wide recognition through exhibitions, distribution, and publications, including her collaborations with prestigious brands like Audi, Boffi, Cool Hunting, and The Macallan. Ferrone is also a featured designer in Phaidon's recent publication, Woman Made: Great Women Designers, which celebrates the contributions of 200 female designers from the twentieth century to the present day. She has also been a juror for distinguished events such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Archiproducts and Core 77 Design Awards.
