Pillow de los Andes Mija
These pieces are beautifully hand woven from a mixture of llama, alpaca, and sheep wool that is hand collected and colored with natural pigments found only in the Andes Mountains. This is the result of centuries of dedication and craft from the Aymara women of Bolivia and Peru. Each one has been created by hand on personally owned simple looms that have been passed down from generation to generation. These women weave all year long and each item is a one-of-a-kind.
The pillows are of high quality and reflect authenticity, tradition, and hours of dedication. They are all uniquely hand made and may contain tiny imperfections. Each piece is different and therefore beautiful and fascinating in its own right.
